Put it on your desktop and stop looking for the tab
The same SITUKIT, in a window that is already open. Capture from any app with one shortcut, jump anywhere with another, and keep working when the wifi drops.
The desktop app is not out yet. Until it is, SITUKIT works in your browser with nothing to install.
Use it in the browserFree on every plan. Signs in with the passkey you already have — there is no separate desktop password to invent either.

WHY BOTHER
Four things a browser tab cannot do
Everything else is identical. Same account, same data, same second you left it — this is about the moments around the app rather than inside it.
Capture without leaving what you are doing
A small window over whatever is on screen. Type the thing, press enter, it is gone again. It reads a date and a person out of the sentence, and keeps it as a task, a note, an objective or a habit.
Jump anywhere in two keystrokes
Objectives, projects, people, situkits and the actions on them, in one list. Faster than finding the tab, let alone the page.
Keeps working with no wifi
What you have opened in Today, Work and Schedule, and your situkits, stays readable. Ticking a task, renaming it, changing when it is due and capturing wait on this machine and go up the moment you are back. Trains, planes, bad hotels.
It is already open
In the dock, in the menu bar, with new notifications on a badge. No tab to lose behind forty others at four in the afternoon.
THE SMALL PRINT
What you are actually installing
Signed and notarised
Apple-notarised on Mac, signed on Windows. If your machine warns you about it, you did not get it from us.
Needs macOS 13 or Windows 10
Linux builds are community-tested rather than supported.
Checksums published
Every build's SHA-256 is on the releases page next to the file, if that matters to you.
Updates itself, quietly
Checks weekly, installs on quit. No dialogue, no restart nag, and a switch in the app’s menu-bar menu to turn it off.
Stores less than you think
Only what you have opened, for 30 days, and it clears when you sign out of the device. Your data is encrypted on disk; the copies of pages it keeps to open offline are not.
Sign out before you uninstall
Uninstalling removes the app, not what it kept for offline use. That stays in your user folder until you sign out of the device, which clears it.
